"The World" is a unique ship in so far that it's passenger's own their stateroom and either live on board or rent it out to other people. Most people spend a long time on board as the ship slowly travels around the world spending generally 3-4 days in each port. This year the ship will start in Australia and work it's way round through Asia, onto Europe, the States, South America until it finally ends the year in Antartica. See more here.
