Is this another Cruise Ship Recruitment Club?
No! This is a private web based club with unique information, and contact to other members via various forums. This is meant as a community and advice club, not as a recruitement club of any kind. I hope however, some of the information I have supplied will help you to discover your dreams and help to build those dreams for the future.

How are you qualified to give advice on working on Cruise Ships?
I spent 10 years working in the cruise staff department on a total of 4 different ships with different star ratings, passenger markets, and world wide nationalities of crew, staff, officers, passengers and ship ownership. I made every mistake possible, but I also survived longer in my position than anyone else ever had or has since on the ships I worked on. I have travelled and worked in every cruise region with the exception of Alaska and completed the entire World Cruise on the QE2, 3 times. In short, I believe what I didn't do wasn't worth doing, what I don't know about cruise ship life isn't worth knowing and I'm fully qualified to tell you what is!

How long is membership for?
Gold membership is a life membership as is Free Standard membership so you won't need to renew them or pay extra in future for use of their resources. Greg's Crew's Club membership is available as a monthly subscription or as part of the Gold Club for the first 12 months, after which membership can continue by subscribing monthly.
+
Where is this club based?
The club is totally web based. This way it is available to members world wide! E books incorporated into the Gold member site, will be available for download in future as pdf. files, so they can be viewed off-line if required.
+
Is there a members forum?
Several forums are already active allowing discussion on numerous subjects separately. New forums can be set up based on feedback from members.
+
Do I need to be at sea to be a member?
No. The majority of members either are or will be at sea, but some people join purely because they are interested in finding out what it is like to be working on a cruise ship, without any intention of doing it themselves. Everyone is welcome to become a Free or Gold member.
+
Will I have full access to all resources in the club?
Gold members have full access to everything (including Greg's Crew's Club for 12 months). You will need to sign up individually to each forum you have access to however, and you may be denied access if the rules of that forum are not adhered to!
+
Does this club purely contain links to other sites.
No! Although there are many useful links to other sites on the web, the majority of information on this site is from my first hand experience. You will not find this elsewhere!
+
Does this club contain links to Cruise lines?
Yes. Currently 22 of the largest ones. You will also be able to find recruitment pages for most of these and will get an overview of their product, from Nationality to Clientele.
+
Does the Gold Club have information about entertainment agents?
Yes. I have a special section where entertainment agents and cruise ship production companies are listed, together with contact information. These are ones I have known personally over the years and know they have been genuine. I am not however, offering to personally recruitment these positions. I am not in the business of shattering dreams on a promise I can't actually guarantee to anyone. I would suggest these addresses as an ideal starting point if you are looking to get into cruise ship entertainment, especially as it avoids the opportunist middle man. These can be the fast track to a job in entertainment at sea and sometimes the only way.
+
How much first hand information and advice is there actually?
Take a look at Gold Contents
The gold site is built around my personal experience and the information is totally unique. You more than likely won't find hints like these anywhere else, but they do make all the difference, both now and in the future.
+
I get sea sick! Is it worth me joining?
Of course! You will learn all you need to evaluate whether cruising is for you or not. Anyway, there is a section on sea sickness and how to avoid it in the Gold member section.
+
I am an Apple user. Can I still access everything?
I have built the club using a mac, but have also tested it to make sure it is ideal for all the most popular browsers. i.e. Internet explorer (using windows), Mozilla firefox, Safari, and Opera.
+
Does the club discuss ranks and privileges on a ship?
Yes. In detail in the gold members section. Different ranks suit different personalities. You must get this right!
+
Do you act as an agent for different positions?
No. I am not an agent and have no vested interest in making you apply to positions. I do discuss different positions as well as the best ways to apply but then it's up to you. My area of expertise is the actual experience of working on a cruise ship and making the most of it, which I have done, unlike most so called cruise agents. Beware!
+
What is the difference between Free membership and Gold Membership?
Gold membership allows you to benefit from my 10 year's of experience at sea and makes the most of what the club has to offer in other ways; including use of forums, contacts and stories . You can even make 50% of the joining fees from new gold members you refer so you can share in the benefit from my 10 years of experience at sea.
As this is a lifetime membership I will happily offer a refund if the site becomes permanently unavailable within 30 days of joining or if you feel that you no longer want to be a member of 'Gregs Cruise Club' within 30 days of joining, provided that you have not made any pdf. downloads, used any of the bonuses and/or you have not applied to join the affiliate scheme. Membership of the affiliate scheme is only available to Gold Members of 'Greg's cruise Club' as I feel it is unethical for people to refer a club they do not wish to be a member of themselves.
+
Is my personal information available to other members?
No! Absolutely not!
However, please take care not to give away information you do not want others to know when making posts on the site or forums.
+
What is required to join and how long does it take?
For Gold Membership; You will need a Credit card or PayPal or Clickbank account. Payment is secure by using PayPal or Clickbank. You should receive basic instructions immediately and a personal email from myself within 24 hours with all the necessary details to access the Gold club and my personal email address for any cruise related questions you may have now, or at anytime as a member.
