Costa Blanca Rentals - A Guide to Booking

by Steve Locke

Costa Blanca Rentals and Holidays - Cheap and easy to book flights and airport transfers, good internet access and a huge choice of Costa Blanca rentals has meant that an ever growing number of people are now booking their own holidays in the sun. They are finding that it is quite easy to build their own package holiday with more choice and value than was previously possible.

The Costa Blanca - The Costa Blanca is located on the south-eastern coast of Spain and comprises around 200 km of coastline and a large hinterland. Better known for the glitzy resorts such as Benidorm, it actually has much more to offer than just sun, sea and sand. There are some great places to visit including ancient towns and cities, remote mountain top villages and beautiful natural parks.

Finding a Flight - The easiest way to book a cheap flight these days is on the internet. Check out a few of the best known companies and maybe try one of the supermarket style comparison sites which single out the best flight deals for you. Your destination airport will depend on where you plan to take your holiday, so check out a map to find the closest airport. Alicante serves the north and central region and Murcia the south, although Alicante is the main airport and is only about an hours drive from anywhere on the Costa Blanca. Best not to actually book your flights just yet, simply check availability and prices and book your rental property first.

Choosing a Location - The choice of location for your holiday will depend somewhat on the type of holiday you are seeking. Is it a quiet, relaxing holiday, a touring holiday, a late night partying holiday or a family holiday with the kids? Check out some of the excellent information sites on the internet or read a decent guide book and be sure to look at a map as well, some Costa Blanca rentals are advertised as "near to the beach" but you may have to hire a car to get there!

Finding a Suitable Property - Searching for your perfect holiday rental property can be fun and rewarding. The internet is a huge resource for available properties and you are certain to be able to find something suitable with just a little effort. You should also be able to find plenty of information about your chosen resort and places of interest to visit while you are there. Because there are so many Costa Blanca rentals available you will want to be very specific in your searching, look only for properties in your chosen location and investigate street maps etc to make sure the property is near the beach, amenities or whatever is your preference.

Booking - When you feel that you have looked at enough potential Costa Blanca rentals, you will want to make a note of the best properties, you can then check availability on required dates, negotiate the cost and discuss a deposit. Before you pay anything, re-check flights for availability and convenience of time and then when you are satisfied you can pay the deposit. When confirmation of your booking arrives it is then safe to book your flights.

Alicante and Murcia Airport Transfers - It is generally possible to find a taxi when arriving at either Alicante or Murcia airport, however you may prefer to book an airport transfer before you go. This can be done online just as easily as booking flights and rental property. Go to your favourite search engine (probably Google) and type in 'Murcia Airport Transfers' or 'Alicante Airport Transfers' and you will be presented with a variety of companies who specialise in this field. Get some quotes and select the one which suits you best and remember to give them the address of your property beforehand.

Preparing for Your Holiday - Everything is now booked for your own self-made package holiday on the Costa Blanca. To ensure that everything runs smoothly and that you get the maximum enjoyment from your holiday you may want to make a few additional preparations. Get yourself a detailed road map of the area around your property, find out some tourist information and find out about some of the local places to visit, maybe find out where the best restaurants are and also scheduled entertainment etc. This will all add to the enjoyment of your stay.

Bon Voyage or Bien Viaje - You have made all the necessary plans to have a superb Costa Blanca holiday, have a safe journey and a great vacation.
