A Full Guide To Other
Position At Sea!
  • Greg's Tip:If you are looking for an officer, crew or staff position, which you think may be recruited directly by the cruise line, don't waste your time and earnings paying someone to apply for you. Go directly and contact the cruise line first. You can visit cruise lines by going to the "Cruise lines" chapter in this site. Alternatively, have a look at this site for help.

You'll have seen a number of positions mentioned in other chapters in the Gold club. positions such as "singer and dancer positions" are always booked through a agent or production company. As such I have given them a section to themselves so you have easy reference to their agent links etc. There are useful links for all those listed seperately. See "Gold Contents".

Outside those mentioned, there are an enormous number of positions that make up the thousand or so crew that work on a ship. Positions and numbers vary of course, but it's worth mentioning the kind of positions you might find on your next ship. A lot of these positions you may not have thought of!

  • Greg's Tip: Do not be phased if cruise lines are not advertising the position you are looking for as available. Apply anyway as positions become available all the time and aren't always advertised. Neil maxwell Keys has an excellent that seems to find many jobs not otherwise advertised and gives you a helping hand at applying. Click here to find out more.
